3 Minute Video of the Hotel
Fifty-six rooms and suites fill the ten 17th century canal houses that comprise this luxury boutique hotel overlooking the Herengracht. All rooms have been recently renovated (between 2011 and 2015). Middle-aged and older couples appreciate the style and ambience. Brasserie Ambassade offers classic French cuisine with a beautiful view of the canal. Breakfast is served between 7 AM and 11 AM in the same room. The Library Bar, open daily from 10am to midnight. In addition to serving cocktails and light snacks, it has over 5000 books signed by authors who have stayed at the hotel. Also open daily from 10am to midnight for drinks and light meals, is the outdoor Terrace.

Personal Experience from 2013
Exclusive, (only 2 suites), romantic luxury hotel bordering Oosterpark. The owners of the House, actress Camilla Braaksma and director Guido Bouvy have transformed part of their house into two beautiful suites named after Dutch impressionists George Breitner and Isaac Israels. No onsite bar or restaurant, but an exceptional complimentary breakfast is served in the period dining room.
